Q.  What's the quickest way to find what I need?

A.  First pick City, Neighborhood or Area.   If you have a general idea, search by Category.   If you know exactly what you need, enter item name and pick from the pop up list. 

 

Q.  Quick specific search?

A.  Use filters – Make/ Model/Size/ Delivery offered/Price

 

Q.  Once I find the item, where should I start?

A.  The CUSTOMIZED INFO  in the LISTING DETAILS to see  PICK UP/DELIVERY TIMES/ CUSTOMIZED DAYS/CUSTOMIZED PRICE. 

 

Q.  What is the price in the LISTING DETAILS?

A.  The normal base price.  Some listers may have CUSTOMIZED price days. For day-specific prices CHECK CUSTOMIZED INFO.

 

Q.  Booking table indicates that the item is not available on my selected dates.  I want THIS item.

A.  Click on the CUSTOMIZED INFO in the LISTING DETAILS.

 

Q.  Is DELIVERY available?

A.  Look for DELIVERABLE in Item details. 

 

Q.  What does delivery cover?

A.  Drop off at your location and Pick Up from drop off site.

 

Q.  What is DELIVERY NOTICE?

A. The minimum notice (hours) the Lister requires to ensure timely delivery. 

 

Q.  What is the Delivery zone?

A.  Deliver zone is radius based.  The lister can decliine the booking if the delivery address is within the zone but across a waterway or some other obstacle.  It's the lister's discretion.  Lower the Carbon footprint and support LOCAL listings.  Rent as close to your destination as possible.

 

Q.  Can I have it delivered to my current location?

A.   Change the DEFAULT Delivery address to reflect the applicable delivery address.

 

Q.  Is Delivery fee subject to Sales Tax?

A.  Yes

 

Q.  Identification?

A. Please bring a government issued ID with your address on it for pick up.  Present ID when item is delivered to you. 

 

Q.  My needs are flexible

A.  Use the CUSTOMIZED INFO function in the LISTING DETAILS specs to see PICK UP TIMES/PRICE/TAKEN by day for the entire month.

Q.  What does delivery charge cover?

A.  Drop off and Pick up.  

 

Q.  Delivery time slots

A.  Pick time slots when you can deliver the item.  The item should be at the requested delivery location at the listed time.  Please take traffic into account if you have multiple listings.

 

Q.  How is Delivery Zone assigned?

A.  Delivery zone is radius based. The lister can decline the booking if the delivery address is within the zone but across a waterway or some other obstacle.  It's the lister's discretion.

 

Q.  How do I get paid?

A.  rentCraze® partners with STRIPE for PAYOUT payments.  Option 1-You can set up a STRIPE account through Account/Payment Settings, you will be directed to the STRIPE Log in/Sign up page.   Payment is released 24 hrs after the item is returned. It may take 3-5 business days for payment to post in your STRIPE account.  Option 2-Your payout can be mailed to you at your Profile address.  In this case, go to Account/Contact Us and send us directive ( Send my check to the address listed below) and we will mail you the check.

 

Q.  My payout?

A.  The listing price + Delivery fee (if applicable).

 

Q. What if I have many items to list?

A.  Sign up.  Send us an email contact@rentcraze.com with the details of your stuff (excel, pdf) and pics.  Once listed, they will appear in My Listings/Inactive.  You verify the information, make them ACTIVE from your DASHBOARD and you are on your way.

 

Q. Can I edit my listing easily?

A. You can active/unactive/edit everything in the MY LISTINGS section.  For ease, when you are logged in to the APP, your own listings can be edited. Simply tap the edit button by the lower right corner of the pic.

 

Q.  My listed item is being serviced.  Do I need to re-enter the information?

A.  No.  Go to MY LISTING and make your listing INACTIVE (using the toggle) and SAVE.  You can also customize the dates in the LIST MY STUFF/CUSTOMIZE/ option.
